One third-party request happens without a click. So the currency converter opens in the money you actually carry, we ask api.country.is which country your IP address is in. It answers with a two-letter country code. No city, no coordinates, no name. That code sits in your browser for a month, so the question gets asked once, and it never reaches us. Block the request and the site reads your browser language instead. Nothing else changes.
